  17. You log into an FTP (file transfer protocol) server and issue the DIR
  18. command to see the directory listing. No files are listed, even when
  19. you know several files exist.
  20.  
  21. CAUSE
  22. -----

  24. Allow Read in the FTP Server portion of Control Panel is not checked
  25. and thus you do not have the proper security access to read files.
  26.  
  27. RESOLUTION
  28. ----------

  30. Start Control Panel and FTP Server. Choose Allow Read so that it is
  31. checked.
